THIRD DAY | Part II : I want this Cupcake!
After we finished eating our "DELICIOUS" sandwiches made by our host families we could hang in Covent Garden by a sunny day. I visited the market and I bought my Oxford sweatshirt there. There are a lot of things but they're not really interesting I thought.
Then we entered the Covent Garden building and it is really a very nice place. People are shopping, or drinking something, watching people that are singing, dancing, making little scenes. I saw some painters too.
Covent Garden
Covent Garden is a place in Westminster. It is now famous because of the Royal Opera House built in 1858. There are a lot of shops there and it is a very touristic place. The Covent Garden Piazza was before the place where stood the flower, fruit and vegetables market. It had been removed in 1974 to the New Covent Garden Market. Now it is a place where you can shop and hang out. That's what we actually did!
We were walking when I suddenly saw that:
I knew that I HAD TO eat one.
I think everybody loved it. I have to admit that it was really disgusting at the end, too much sugar kills sugar. And it was quite expensive. But I couldn't leave Covent Garden without bying one, the perfect little (BIG) british cute and pink muffin.
Of course I did not only ate muffins all the afternoon. We went shopping in the same stores as in France, they're just 5 time bigger. The exeption was Top Shop that we don't have in France (and I really want one because this shop is perfect).
At the end of the day we returned in Stratford Upon Avon, and I bet that this time I wasn't hungry.
