FIRST DAY | Part III : Welcome home

We were all very exited in the coach, waiting for our host families. Alix and me saw everybody, little by little, go and leave with their families. Our was late. But she finally arrived of course and was very nice.

So Alix and me lived by Erika Simons. Her house was 20 minutes with the car away from the meeting point.

She's got three children : her daughter lived in London and her two boys were by there father, so we didn't really saw them, just one time.

It was nice with her because we were free to do what we wanted to, and could eat pizza with her watching her favourite TV shows. We could easily talk with here. She was used to host pupils because after us she already had a complete calendar prepared, and before us too she had hosted a lot.

Her house was not like the image that I have from typical british houses (it was NOT in bricks!). I compared it with the house of my penfriend from last year, wish was "britisher" to me. But it was very good for us, our room had a Tv and she had a lot of DVDs, so I could finally watch Sex and the City the movie (and it was not so good as I expected).

Erika was from Coventry, but she told us that Stratford Upon Avon was a very nice town and that it was pleasant place to live. Of course it is a touristic place because of Shakespeare who was born there.

But that's what we do the second day!
